Agricultural Development
June 1996- Amibara Agricultural Development Plc (AAD) itself was established on 800 hectares of land which was part of the former Amibara Angelele farm by renting from the local society in 1996G.c.

At this time the company has manages more than 10,000 hectares of land.

After years of expanding the farming business it has integrated horizontally beginning from 2006

In 2006 The Company leased Omo valley Agro-Industry plc (the former Birale Agricultural Development)
2007
In 2007 Middle Awash Agricultural Development Enterprise (Afar Region) has been leased from Privatization and Public Enterprises Supervising Agency
2007
The Enterprise with a ginning factory administers three state farms namely Melka werer, Melka Sedi and Sidha Fagie state farms.
2008
Amibara aviation service in 2008 purchased from Ethiopian Airlines with capital of 25 million birr or 892,857 USD.
2008
Addis Modjo Edible Oil mill is also acquired with the capital of 78 million birr or $ 2,785715 USD from the Privatization and Public Enterprises Supervising Agency in 2008.
March 2011
G.C total ownership transfer with a capital of 350 million birr or $12,500,000 USD has been traded.
2017
the total cultivable land holding of Amibara Agricultural Development PLC has increased to more than 10,867 hectares in the years between 2006 and 2017G.c.
