Food Processing Industry
Amibara, in the food processing industry, has two companies producing one wheat flour and Biscuit and the other edible oil and margarine. Awash flour and biscuit complex at Debre-Zeit town is established in 2003 is operating with a capacity of producing 324 quintals of wheat flour and 78 quintals of biscuit per day.
Addis Modjo Edible Oil mill
is also acquired with the capital of 78 million birr or $ 2,785715 USD from the Privatization and Public Enterprises Supervising Agency in 2008. It uses cotton seed as a raw material creating market for the cotton farms as well strengthening its input supply by being sister company OUR FOCUS >>> PAGE- SAMPLE CONTENT to the farms. The company runs two plants located one in Addis Ababa and the other in Modjo town.
